Visit
Should we wear a mask?

Yes, wearing a mask is strongly recommended in the hotel to guarantee everyone's safety (except in your room and at the table during breakfast or when you have a drink).

What are the health protocols in place?

- wearing a mask is recommended in the hotel for everyone's safety

- the distance thanks to the marking on the ground

- hydroalcoholic gel or liquid is available

- plexiglass at the reception

- regular disinfection of all surfaces of common areas (handles, stair railings, counters ...)

- for breakfast, a tray is prepared per person and the order must be made the day before. You can choose to take it on the spot, on the terrace or in your room (depending on the places available)

- Payment by bank card and contactless is recommended, the device is disinfected after each use.

- payment is requested on arrival or on the last evening in order to avoid handling money in the morning and queuing at reception upon departure

- location defined for the deposit of keys at the end of the stay (they are then disinfected before being stored on the table of keys)

What changes are due to COVID-19 during the stay?

- breakfast is served on a tray according to your order made the day before, you can choose to have it in the dining room, on the terrace or in your room (depending on the places available)

- in order to guarantee the safety of the staff and the customers, the cleaning service is not carried out during your stay but, at your request, we provide the linen and the welcome products (towels, gel, shampoo, cups and paper toilet)

- brochures and leaflets are available on request (city map, map of Châteaux by bicycle and all brochures for tourist sites)

What are the arrival, departure and breakfast times?

The reception is open between 7.30 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Arrival is between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. We ask you to indicate your arrival time in advance and notify us in case of delay.

The departure is between 7:30 am and 11:00 am. If you wish to leave earlier, payment must be made the day before.

Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 10 am (except Sunday between 7:30 am and 11 am) in the breakfast room, on the terrace (in season) or in your room.

How are the rooms equipped?

Depending on the category chosen, the size of the bed differs:

- individual: bed 120x190 cm

- double: bed 140x190 cm

- double superior: bed 160x200 cm

- double PMR: bed 140x190 cm

- triple: 140x190 + 90x190 cm beds

- triple superior: bed 160x200 cm + convertible armchair 80x190 cm

- triple superior PMR: bed 160x200 cm + convertible armchair 80x190 cm

- quadruple: 2 beds 140x190 cm

- superior quadruple: 160x200 cm bed + 90x190 cm bunk beds

To ensure you the best comfort, the rooms are equipped with a desk & chairs, a wardrobe or closet, a luggage rack, a fan-column, a safe and shutters (either shutters, electric shutters or shutters rolling).

How are the shower rooms or bathrooms equipped?

Depending on the room, this room is equipped with a shower or bath, a sink, a wall mirror, a removable magnifying mirror and a hairdryer.

Of course you will find welcome products: gel and soaps, plastic cup and towels.

PLEASE NOTE, we only have 4 rooms with a bath: a double, a twin, the superior triple and the superior quadruple.

All other bedrooms have a shower.

Does the Hotel have an air conditioning system?

No, but each room has a column fan.

In hot weather, the floor staff close the shutters to keep your room as fresh as possible.

Try to keep them closed when you arrive.

Does the Hotel have an elevator?

No, there is no elevator in the Hotel.

The hotel has 3 floors and some room categories are located on the 3rd floor (Superior doubles, Standard triples, 1 single and 3 Standard doubles).

So thank you for asking or clarifying if you want a room on the ground floor or on the 1st floor.

On our website, these floors are indicated according to the choice of room category chosen.

Can we come with our pet?

Yes, for an additional € 5 / day / animal.

BE CAREFUL because he should not be left alone in the room in your absence! Also, remember to find out if you can take them with you to visit the Castles or other tourist sites.

What are the payment options available ?

We accept the following payment methods:

- by bank card (eurocard / mastercard, visa, american express, vpay, contactless, paylib)

- cash

Where is the hotel located in Blois?

We are in the city center, between the SNCF station and the Château Royal, located within the confines of a private residence (not closed).

Access via rue Jean Moulin (BUS PARK lane) or Boulevard Chanzy, then enter the car park to access the hotel.

Can you park your car easily?

There are 3 possibilities to park near our hotel:
1. free in front of the hotel, depending on availability
2. paying in front of the hotel 50 m away, public parking in the green zone (€ 5 per day) and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. & from 2 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
3. paying 200 m opposite, underground car park at Château STATIONEO (€ 9 per day)

Where can I find long-term parking?

In the public car park, for 12 € it is possible to leave your vehicle for up to 7 days maximum = choose the PACKAGE option (parking meters in cash or card).
For a longer period, the underground parking of Château STATIONEO will be the only solution (40 € for 15 days).

Where can you park your two-wheeler securely?

The hotel has an adjoining and private garden = ask for the gate key at the reception.
BE CAREFUL, due to the vast majority of cyclists - due to the success of La Loire à Vélo - motorbikes cannot always park in the garden but there is always a solution! So don't hesitate to ask us.

Is the Hotel a partner of the "Accueil Vélo" and "Loire à vélo" brands?

Yes, we have been partners "Loire à vélo" and "Accueil vélo" for many years and offer:

- a secure room

- tools for your small repairs

- a household kit

Is the Hotel far from the cycle paths?

The track is located at the end of the alley, less than 50 M! This track is the one that starts from the station and that goes to the city center via marked and secure tracks (the CHATEAUX A VELO map is available on request or on the Blois-Chambord tourist office website :

Where to rent bikes?

Directly on our site and on the "BICYCLES" page.

You will find the description of the bikes and possible equipment there.

The reservation is strongly recommended because we are delivered by our partner RANDO VELO and have only a small stock on site.

Where can we eat nearby?

We work with our restaurant which is Logis de France and is located in the Hotel LE MONARQUE, less than 10 min walk.

Logis Terroir classification = traditional French and regional cuisine.

The current menus are displayed in the hall as well as in your rooms.

We can reserve 1 table for you, if you wish.

Otherwise, of course, there are other restaurants of different categories in the city center and we can point them out to you.

What to visit in Blois?

Of course, the essential Château Royal de Blois and its garden (500 M on foot), the Maison de la Magie (opposite the Castle), the Fondation du Doute (800 M on foot) and above all the many pedestrian streets, spaces greens and historic buildings.

But also to complete your day, the Royal Castle Sound & Light show (between April and September).
